Bloom says her firm is reviewing other potential accusations against the singer and additional names may be added to the lawsuit in the coming days.
Among their list of reasons, New York Marine claims the policy between them and Usher "does not apply to "bodily injury" ... arising out of the transmission of any communicable diseases by insured". As of this point, Raymond's representatives have not responded to requests for comment. Usher already paid a stylist $1.1 million in 2012 for giving her herpes.
She said she made a decision to join the lawsuit against Usher so he "does not do this to anyone else".
It's interesting since the other 2 people on the lawsuit filed anonymously, as Jane and John Doe.
Aside from Sharpton, Bloom has two other clients - one man and one woman - who are suing Usher.
In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, two woman and a man claimed the R&B singer knowingly exposed them to genital herpes.
There have been numerous reports that Usher was diagnosed with herpes in 2009.
Sharpton says she's negative for herpes but still feels violated. She attended the concert for her 19th birthday and said that she has been a big fan of his. If Sharpton's allegations are true, she got off lucky.
Later, she says a security guard came up to her and asked for her number because Usher was "interested in her".
"About an hour later (Usher) arrived". "If Mr. Raymond is negative, we call upon him to either contact each of his intimate partners since his diagnosis and notify them or to make a public statement so that people's minds can be put to rest".
In front of the cameras, Quantasia Sharpton explained that she had met with the american star after one of his concerts, the evening of his 19th birthday (no specific date has been disclosed).
Not much is known about Sharpton.
