Samsung had also revealed the launch of a 256GB variant of Note 8. If Samsung intends to keep to the same schedule then the Note 8 should hit stores in September, making an August reveal even more likely. The latter is undeniably sharper, but we'll have to wait and see whether this stays true once the phone is out.
It's already been previously rumoured that SEM would be supplying the camera for the Galaxy Note 8, so it seems nearly certain that this (or a variant of this) dual camera will be included in the final design. Thanks to Ghostek, one of the most premium smartphone case manufacturers, we now know for sure what the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will look like.
Since the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is expected to be a sturdier version of the standard model, it will come with IP68 rating, which means it can survive a dip in shallow water for as long as half an hour.
South Korean electronic giant Samsung is all set to launch its flagship device Samsung Galaxy Note 8 at a special event in NY on August 23, 2017. The Samsung Galaxy S8 contains the 5.8-inch display and the Samsung S8 Plus features a 6.2-inch display. The only bad thing about the design of the smartphone is that the fingerprint scanner will be on the back next to the cameras.
As per the details posted by the company, the dual camera setup is able to achieve 3X optical zoom. This year flagship smartphones are Galaxy S8, and Galaxy S8 plus phones also come with the single camera. Since the system takes shots from two slightly different angles, Samsung has the option to use software in the Note 8 to create an image which can adjust the perspective slightly with input. OnePlus originally announced the handset with "2x optical zoom" but it later emerged that it only had 1.6x optical zoom with the remaining 0.4x zoom magnification being made up digitally via something called "SmartCapture multi frame technology". The South Korean maker has not confirmed officially now.
