Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli is BETTER than Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho - Danny Murphy

With Neymar said to be close to a £200m switch to Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool clearly view Coutinho's worth to them as similar and are desperate to warn off Barcelona.

'Coutinho scored 14 goals last season and that was his best return. Liverpool are reported to have set an €80 million price for him.

FC Barcelona have reportedly agreed personal terms with Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho.

Meanwhile, Lazar Markovic is drawing interest from Fiorentina, Leicester City and Watford, with Liverpool setting a £16m price tag for the Serbia global, sources said.

While it's not totally impossible, replacing Coutinho could prove to be a daunting task for the Reds, and they are better off convincing him to stay than allowing an exit.

According to a report by Sport, Philippe Coutinho would take a risk if he joins Barcelona since he will earn lesser wages with the possibility of earning bonuses later on.

"The Klopp factor is incredible at Liverpool because the fans support him, no matter what he does, no matter who he signs", Barnes added.

Liverpool have so far signed Andrew Robertson to strengthen their defense but we can expect the Scottish player to play as Klopp's second choice left back.

"If he can get Van Dijk or Keita, all well and good".

Or perhaps there's absolutely nothing in it, and we all just need to stop paying so much attention to Instagram.

"Obviously when Barcelona come in they probably wouldn't like the answer to that".

But Jürgen Klopp is keen to keep his talisman at the club as they aim to improve on their fourth place finish last season.
