Microsoft's Xbox One X console was one of the biggest talking points around E3 this year. When asked if Microsoft is making money from each console sold, Xbox leader Phil Spencer toldBusiness Insider, "No". It's under the Play Anywhere umbrella, wherein Microsoft makes it available for Xbox One and Windows 10. Ryan reckons video game developers won't have time generally to make two game versions for both gaming systems.
The head of Xbox has again expressed his belief in the long-term prospects of VR, but also stressed that consoles aren't yet the ideal home for it.
There's no denying that the specifications of the Xbox One X are beyond impressive, and they have massively pushed the boundaries for the hardware limits of a home console, even them bringing them on a comparable footing with PC gaming.
"It was that nice, liberating point that we had by having Xbox One S", Penello said. We can not just open the console and implement a new GPU as per the latest trend.
During an interview with Eurogamer, Spencer highlighted the premium features of the console, you know, games run at 4K to 60 frames per second, support for HDR and Blu-ray 4K, among other things. Hopefully, the new Atari console will not be a disappointment for the fans.
Today the library of games consoles includes about 400 products. More importantly, the company is pretty excited about who's likely to buy the new device.
From a slightly less positive angle though, the fact that the One X won't appeal to many of those without 4K TVs and sizeable bankrolls could have a negative impact on its performance.
While Microsoft is offering gamers a premium experience, it isn't really charging them a premium to get it, even in spite of the Xbox One X's relatively high price.
If you are a sane person, you are probably asking "WTF WHY?!". So, what's that move? The PS4 and Switch still get Actual Exclusive games such as Horizon: Zero Dawn and Arms.
